WHAT'S THIS SITE ALL ABOUT?

Welcome to the site - I love bikes, I like other Guzzis, but I LOVE 750 Guzzis from the early/mid 1970s best, so that's what this site is about...started off years ago as a few photos of my S3 but now there's a steadily growing eclectic and sprawling collection of stuff on the three 750cc sports models that came out of the Guzzi factory between 1971 and 1975. A short few years to produce bikes that are beautiful to look at, handle well, go fast enough, easy to work on and are tough like old boots. You can tour on them, scratch on them, go shopping on them, tune them and race them. Cheap insurance, cheap running costs..I don't want much more from a classic bike.

I work on this site in my spare time and for passion so don't moan at me about updates - there's always something to update or broken links to sort out!
All information provided in good faith. If you want to borrow some photos please be decent enough to link to my site.
Please don't send me photos of your Targa, Nevada or any other Guzzi 750, sorry I'm not interested..

GYLES FAIRCLOUGH 1973 - 2008

My friend Gyles Fairclough has died following a racing accident at Cadwell Park.
It is shocking news, and my condolencies go out to all of Gyles' family.

Gyles was Guzzi through and through, and his racing talent shone through after years of thrashing old nails like his S3, featured along with his dad John's 750S, on the owners' register elsewhere on this site. I always remember him sending in a grainy little photo of him virtually getting his knee down on his S3 going round a mini-roundabout. Class!!

Gyles was just funny, and a typical Yorkshireman. He'll be sorely missed by me, and anyone else who knew him through the small world of Guzzi that we live in. Rest in peace Gyles.

His family have requested anyone wanting to remember Gyles should donate something to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance; their website is here:
